The Change Leaders Program
A multi-modal intervention strategy that illuminates pathways for creating Change Leaders across the Bihar school education system.
To scale its impact, Anandshala – a school dropout prevention program, needed to transition from a high-touch model to a low-touch one. This required the mobilisation of dormant and even resistant stakeholders in the ecosystem, held back by many personal and systemic barriers.
Fold Labs was brought on board to design an intervention strategy that could activate these stakeholders as agents of change.
We created behaviour change journeys that highlighted the barriers and enablers for each key stakeholder in their journey of becoming a change leader. The long list of enablers was synthesised into a comprehensive and actionable engagement strategy that provided various pathways for orchestrating these change journeys.
THE ANANDSHALA STAKEHOLDER MAP
A stakeholder map was created to understand the position, interactions and role of key stakeholders in the ecosystem.
BEHAVIOUR CHANGE JOURNEYS
These were created for each stakeholder group to understand how change leadership could be facilitated in various people with differing mindsets and behaviours.

CAMPAIGN 1
Main Bhi Shikshak
This campaign celebrates the vital role of teachers in transforming communities and intends to bring pride to the phrase 'I am a Teacher'. By sharing inspiring stories of teachers and head teachers, it plays the dual role of acknowledging motivated stakeholders and inspiring the demotivated ones.
CAMPAIGN 2
Change Crusader Program
Change isn’t easy—but it’s worth it. The Change Crusader Program empowers educators to embrace challenges, overcome setbacks, and lead with purpose. Through stories and dialogue, it builds failure positivity and builds a community of resilient changemakers.
CAMPAIGN 3
Peeth pe Thappi
This campaign champions the magic of recognition to energize the education ecosystem. Promoting a culture where every effort is acknowledged through words or actions. It aims to replace silence with applause, ensuring that everyone feels valued and inspired to continue driving change.
